[variance recordings] was started in the summer of 2007 with the aim to deliver a blend of melodic, deep, dark, techno beats. The labels output has variation on the remixes and is there to reach to all connoisseurs of electronica. October saw the first release by Martin Brodin which set the label off and running with big hype and solid reviews. Sunshine Lover moved [variance] to the next level with 6 Essential selection plays, it was one of the biggest records of 2007. 2008 is going to be even bigger with some big records lined up , a radio show on Proton, a podcast series and the creation of [variance at night] which will be a rave in Dirty warehouses, car parks, quarries, arches, large houses, derelict buildings, caves, woods and anywhere you want it to be.
